The first section of Verbal Quantitative is of average difficulty. The difficulty level of the second section of each depends on your overall performance on the first sections. If you do very well on the first Quantitative Reasoning will be at a higher level of difficulty.
1. An unidentified unscored section that doesn’t count toward your score may be included and may appear in any order after the Analytical Writing section. Questions in the unscored section are being tried out either for possible use in future tests or to ensure that scores on new editions of the test are comparable to scores from earlier editions. 2. An identified research section that doesn’t count toward your score may be included in place of the unscored section. The research section will always appear at the end of the end of the test. Questions in this section are included for ETS research purposes.
The GRE General Test at home is a safe and convenient option for test takers who prefer to take their test at home rather than at a test center. The at home test is identical to a test taken at a test center and taken on your own computer at home or another secure location. All at home tests are monitored by a human proctor online through ProctorU®. At home testing is available around the clock, 7 days a week. You are not allowed to take notes on regular paper, for security purposes.You may use one small desktop white board with erasable marker, one sheet of paper inside a transparent sheet protector, with an erasable marker. Pencils and pens are not permitted.At the end of the test, you will need to show the proctor that all notes have been erased.
